Thanks him for his verses: "If anything could add to the impressions of the favours which have been heaped upon me here it is that I am enabled thro your kind assistance to express my gratitude for them in so very elegant a manner." Endorsed in another hand: August 1777 Thanking him for his verses a farewell address to be spoken by her at Edinr.
